Event Spotlight: Westfield Galleria Staff Holiday Party
Retailers are often working overtime during the Holiday season, so it can be hard to find a time to celebrate. That’s why Jeff Richardson knew he needed to find a time after the holidays to throw a delayed holiday party for his staff at the Westfield Galleria in Roseville, California.
The Westfield team worked with Randy Peters Catering to host a sit-down holiday dinner for a staff of around 100 people. In addition to the sit-down dinner, Randy Peters also set up a full bar service for all participating guests.
Making the Extra Effort for Holiday Guests
For this party, Randy Peters closed down their entire restaurant venue to host the Westfield staff. Reserving this space for the holiday party made the attendees feel especially valued, and avoided any risk of overcrowding throughout the night. Finally, reserving the space allowed the party host to set the ambience they wanted for the party, without being interrupted by any other parties in the space.

To make the event even more special, Randy Peters Catering kept up their holiday decorations throughout the restaurant, even though the holidays had been long gone by the time of the party. This extra effort in ambience for the staff in attendance went a long way in adding to the care and customer service throughout the event.
A Holiday Dinner to Remember
For this event, every single staff member was treated to a formal sit-down dinner. However, before they got to the table, they were greeted by Randy Peters staff with a variety of appetizers and finger food, including charcuterie selections and bread baskets.
As the guests sat down, they were served a grilled pear and walnut salad, followed by their choice of entree, including steak, chicken, and fish options. Each course arrived to the guests in a timely manner throughout the progression of the night. In addition, even though there were different courses and entree options, all food was delivered at the perfect temperature.

Although the food was served in a formal manner, the Randy Peters staff worked diligently to guarantee all guests felt welcome in the space. Taking this extra effort to ensure everyone felt comfortable and valued went a long way with the Westfield host and staff.
A Bartender to Call Home About
One of the highlight features of the event was the full bar offered throughout the night. Rather than having pre-made drinks or a pre-set beer and wine service, the Randy Peters team provided an incredible bartender who managed a fully stocked bar – and crafted a variety of freshly made cocktails for the guests.
The Westfield team opted to treat their team by pulling out all the stops with these bartending services, and it went a long way with their staff! These unique and interesting cocktails added to the overall festivity and experience of the holiday party.
